Queensville Montessori Academy is proud to be an AMI Recognized and Accredited Montessori School.

Queensville Montessori Academy is recognized and accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale and is a member of AMI Canada's Montessori Quality Assurance program. We are regularly visited by AMI consultants who assist the school in its efforts to offer high quality, authentic Montessori education. The AMI Certificate of Recognition is only issued to those schools who meet the criteria established.

We are proud to uphold the highest quality in Montessori practices and remain true to the ideals and principles of AMI.

The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) is the world leading authority on Montessori education and research. AMI brings Montessori education to children, adolescents, adults, educators and governments across the world. Founded in 1929 by the pioneering doctor, scientist and educator, Maria Montessori. and her son Mario to safeguard the authenticity of her discoveries as well as to protect the integrity of her life’s work.

The AMI Recognition Program for schools first came about in response to parents’ inquiries for authentic, high-quality Montessori programs for their children.

In addition to being an AMI- Recognized and Accredited school, QMA has a license from the Ministry of Education and is inspected by York Region Public Health, Community Services and Health Department.
